Captain Hook. 

Whilst freelancing for Artem I was heavily involved in designing and overseeing the making of this captain hook bed. The sequence of the Olympic opening ceremony had 4 “baddie” characters coming out of large hospital beds. This character was made to extend six meters high and able to bounce around in every direction. It also had to collapse down to fit inside the bed. I made it possible to be puppeteer from both the floor and on the bed. There were also 10 extendable “arms” inside the bed, of which only 3 were used.
