HURRICANE HESIT

FILM

Whilst freelancing at Artem I made this quarter scale wooden house which split in half and fliped into the air in a very specif way for a feature film. Working closly with designer/maker Thom Gode under the supervision of Will Wyatt and Mike Kelt. We designed and build a hydrolic steel frame to make the split, twist and flip move and I oversaw the construction of a bolser wood house on top to come to pieces in a way similar to how a real wooden house would. There were also a lot of model made elements within it. We then dressed it and surrounded it with large fans and shot it in the Atrem carpark. 3 months to make; 3 seconds to destroy, and it all fell to pieces perfectly.
